This is a reminder, lest you forget. We can only see the world in shadows and reflections. When we see the world in this fashion, we think it is real. We have been told it is real. We don’t have any other experience to tell us differently.
We are not open to another reality. And why would we be. This reality feels pretty solid. The desk, the car, the coffee/teacup feels real. The relationship feels real, great if it is growing or awful if it is rather rocky.
That is why I am writing and sharing photographs to help open the door to a new reality. A reality that is fuller, richer, deeper. It is an invitation to be present in the current moment. Being with what is without judgement.
How do we get to this other reality?

Reflections
First, realize there is more to the story.
Second, be open to other possibilities.
Third, be willing to participate without your cache of defenses and beliefs. Which means going through counseling and other methods to release past traumas.
Forth, be curious. Be willing to be vulnerable and play.
This picture is from my brother’s kitchen. It is a reflection of the maple tree in the back yard reflecting on the kitchen counter. It struck me because of the beauty of the tress as well as some of the usual things from kitchen, like the faucet.
Can you imagine only being able to see this reflection and not the real tree? The difference between the reflection and reality as we know it is an example of the difference between the veiled view of life and the actual fullness of life. Just a thought.
I invite you to join me for the Stress Less Thrive More Breakthrough Event next week. You will learn a way to walk from the shadows and reflections into the fullness of life. Just click here to join us.
